David Mitchell Elliott
Life Experience
David Mitchell Elliott was the ninth of nine children born to Ebenezer Elliott. He was educated in Morning Sun and at Miami University, both in Ohio. He was a member of the Associate Reformed Church. He graduated from IU with his bachelor’s degree at age nineteen, and received his M.D. from Cincinnati College at age twenty-one. He practiced medicine in Aurora, Indiana, with Dr. Sutton. He was considered a very promising, young physician before his death at age twenty-three.
