Life Experience
John McCutcheon Clark resided in Vincennes, Indiana. He entered IU in 1835 and completed his law degree nine years later. He began his law practice in Greene County, the same year he graduated.
Marriage and Family
Clark had a son and daughter, Albert and Carrie. Albert was married for thirty-nine years, but had no children. Carrie and her husband had two daughters, who subsequently settled in the Hollywood area of California.
Interesting Anecdote
Carrie’s grandson, Leslie Irvin, lived long enough (1978) to see his young granddaughter star in some Hollywood films. She is actress Jodie Foster.
